More Cowbell

This is a fun 10 pitch route that comes with amazing views of the Kananaskis range and a moderate 5.7 grade. The route has a feeling similar to the popular Mother’s Day Buttress rock route near Banff, but instead of walking off the route, you rappel this one.

Pumpkin Route

Officially known as Unnamed in the local guidebook, this great route on the west end of Yamnuska’s south face is better known by locals as the Pumpkin Route, for the very large pumpkin that is painted on the wall at the top of the last pitch.

Old Man Rules

A fun, low commitment multi-pitch sport route on McGillivray slabs with 10-pitches of consistent 5.9 to 5.10 climbing. The line follows solid limestone with a few interesting parts involving: slab climbing, pulling through a fun overhang section, and a tricky right facing corner pitch. 

Geriatric

This is a great 7-pitch moderate climb on the well-known cliff face of Mt. Rundle called, EEOR or the East End of Rundle. The cliff holds many great multi-pitch rock climbs and overlooks Whitemans Pond and the town of Canmore. Expect some great limestone climbing on this route. 

Easy Street

This 6-pitch climb is a great Yam intro route and gets 2-star climb. The climbing is consistent in the 5.4-5.6 range, takes traditional rock placements, and makes for a nice day out, especially if these grades are your jam.
