This long ice climb is a popular Ghost classic with pitch after pitch of moderate climbing. Pitch lengths range from 5-25m, which is great to keep moving and staying warm.
This area in general is great a great place to play, as there are many options to climb. The Joker is the easier of the Orient Point ice climbs, with 50m of WI3 climbing and 130m of WI2 approach ice.
A fun, low commitment climb that’s very close to the highway, and shares a common start with Essondale Right.
This early season performer is quality and full of technical and bulgy climbing. Typically climbed early season before the avy hazard gets too high.
These are two great moderate multi-pitch ice climbs. Irish Mist is a 65m WI3, and Watering Hole is a 45m WI3.
A climb that has been gaining more popularity despite it’s longer walk. Must be worth it… 😉
