    This is a fun 10 pitch route that comes with amazing views of the Kananaskis range and a moderate 5.7 grade. The route has a feeling similar to the popular Mother’s Day Buttress rock route near Banff, but instead of walking off the route, you rappel this one.

  • Directions

    Kananaskis Country (Elbow-Sheep Wildland Prov. Park). Drive ≈ 22km south on Hwy. 40, 250m past Sundance Lodge, where you will come to a creek drainage and ditch parking on the RHS. Roughly 52km (one-way) from Canmore.
  • Approach

    Cross the hwy. and hike up the left side of the drainage using a well-worn climber's trail through forest and up open slopes to the base of the Delta Wall. The approach takes roughly 60min and covers 1.5km with 400m of elevation gain.
  • Descent

    Rappel the route and hike back down the trail you came up.
