Old Man Rules
A fun, low commitment multi-pitch sport route on McGillivray slabs with 10-pitches of consistent 5.9 to 5.10 climbing. The line follows solid limestone with a few interesting parts involving: slab climbing, pulling through a fun overhang section, and a tricky right facing corner pitch.
DirectionsKananaskis Country (Bow Valley Wildland Prov. Park). From Canmore, drive east on Hwy 1 for roughly 16km.
ApproachThe hike is not too long (30min) but it does involve some uphill bushwhacking and scrambling movements on a climber’s trail.
DescentRap the route though it is possible to walk off.
